Richemont Luxury in Singapore seeks a Quality Control professional to uphold the highest standards for watch repairs. Reporting to the Head of Technical Operations, SEA, you will contribute to sales and after-sales excellence through rigorous QC and adherence to brand specifications.

The role emphasizes comprehensive quality inspections, proactive issue identification, and close collaboration with Technical and Admin teams to continuously improve processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Good visual acuity and meticulous attention to detail.
• Training provided; no prior experience required, but watch industry experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work autonomously with strong collaboration and team mindset.
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP familiarity is a plus.
• Strong collaboration with Technical and Admin teams; reporting to line manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive technical quality control inspections on watch repairs, ensuring adherence to brand specifications.
• Document quality control failures and escalate to Head of Technical Operations for resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of all quality control failures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to service centre policies and ensure proper handling of spare parts; keep workstation safe and organized.
• Assist with periodic inventory counts and overall inventory management.

MAIN PURPOSE

Reporting to the Head of Technical Operations, SEA this role is responsible for upholding the highest technical quality standards in watch repairs, directly contributing to the excellence of sales and after-sales services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Technical Quality Control & Assurance

• Conduct comprehensive technical quality control inspections on all watch repairs, ensuring strict adherence to established procedures and brand specifications.
• Document and elevate quality control failures to the Head of Technical Operations for appropriate resolution and further processing.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all quality control failures.
• Proactively identify and report technical issues, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and providing constructive feedback to management.

2. Operational Compliance & Workstation Management

• Adhere strictly to service centre policies regarding authorized repairs, ensuring no unauthorized watches or non-watch products are serviced.
• Ensure the proper disposal or storage of used spare parts, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
• Maintain all equipment in optimal working condition to facilitate effective daily operations.

3. Inventory Support

• Assist with periodic stock counts and inventory management as required.

REQUIREMENT

• Good visual acuity and meticulous attention to detail.
• No formal prior experience in a comparable role is mandatory as training will be provided, but prior experience in quality control or the watch industry is highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and demonstrate self-motivation, coupled with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team-player mindset.
• Proficiency in standard computer applications (e.g., MS Office Suite, internet browsers, email); familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• Strong collaboration required with both Technical and Admin teams as well strong functional line of reporting with line manager.
