Job summary

Mitsui Elastomers Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Quality Control professional to uphold the Quality Management System and ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance, product lot approvals, and rigorous document control. Role requires collaboration with QA, Supply Chain, and Packaging teams on quality improvements, audits, and supplier interfaces.

Required are a relevant chemistry degree or diploma, 2+ years in quality roles, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Professional certification in Quality Management System Internal Auditor (advantageous)
• Highly self-motivated, independent and resourceful
• Good communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Willing to work in Jurong Island

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Quality Management System and ISO 9001:2015 compliance
• Approve product lots and investigate quality issues
• Perform Document Controller duties and manage documents
• Update Quality Flowchart, raw material specifications, and COA collection
• Coordinate audits and corrective/preventive actions
• Support investigations with other functions on customer complaints
• Inspect incoming materials and packaging; monitor supplier quality
• Manage quality documents (COAs, SOPs, manuals)
• Conduct supplier visits and quality audits
