Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for precision engineering to ensure parts meet customer and engineering specifications.

The role covers First Article through final outgoing inspection and requires collaboration with production and engineering teams. You will inspect with precision instruments, operate a CMM when required, read GD&T drawings, and maintain inspection records in accordance with control procedures.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a machine shop / precision engineering environment.
• Proficient in using common precision measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with CMM is highly advantageous.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections from First Article to final outgoing inspection.
• Inspect components using precision measuring instruments and equipment.
• Operate CMM for dimensional inspection where required.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure calibration compliance.
• Identify non-conformances and escalate quality issues as needed.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support quality improvements.

Quality Control Inspector - Precision Engineering

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Saturday: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Working Days: 5.5 days per week

Working Location: Buroh Street, Singapore

Industry: Precision Engineering / Manufacturing

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in a machine shop / precision engineering environment

Key Skill: CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience will be an advantage.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team and ensure that products consistently meet customer and engineering specifications.

The Role

As a Quality Control Inspector , you will be responsible for conducting inspections throughout the manufacturing process, from First Article and incoming inspection to in-process and final outgoing inspection. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards and ensure accurate inspection records.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and functional inspections on First Article (FA), incoming, in-process, and outgoing parts according to work instructions and specifications.
• Inspect components using appropriate precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
• Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for dimensional inspection where required.
• Ensure inspection equipment and measuring tools are properly maintained and comply with calibration and preventive maintenance requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Maintain proper control of the manufacturing environment and carry out gowning procedures where required.
• Record and maintain accurate inspection, monitoring, and quality data in accordance with document and records control procedures.
• Identify non-conformances and elevate quality issues to the relevant supervisor or department.
• Work closely with production and other teams to support quality improvement and resolve inspection-related issues.
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a machine shop / precision engineering environment.
• Experience in precision engineering or manufacturing is required.
• Proficient in using common precision measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) is highly advantageous.
