Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for our precision engineering operations at Buroh Street, Singapore. You will conduct inspections from First Article to final outgoing, ensuring conformance to drawings and GD&T.Candidates should have at least 2 years in a machine shop/precision environment, be proficient with precision measuring tools and CMM, and maintain accurate inspection records.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a machine shop / precision engineering environment
• Experience in precision engineering or manufacturing is required
• Proficient in using common precision measuring instruments
• Familiarity with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and functional inspections on First Article, incoming, in-process, and outgoing parts according to work instructions and specifications
• Inspect components using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment
• Operate CMM for dimensional inspection where required
• Ensure inspection equipment and tools are calibrated and maintained
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
• Maintain proper control of the manufacturing environment and gowning procedures
• Record and maintain accurate inspection data in accordance with procedures
• Identify non-conformances and elevate quality issues to supervisor
• Collaborate with production and other teams to support quality improvement
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned by the supervisor

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM & Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

• Working Location: Buroh Street, Singapore

• Experience Required: 2 years in a machine shop / precision engineering environment

• Key Skill: CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience.

The Role

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections throughout the manufacturing process, from First Article and incoming inspection to in-process and final outgoing inspection. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards and ensure accurate inspection records.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and functional inspections on First Article (FA), incoming, in-process, and outgoing parts according to work instructions and specifications.

• Inspect components using appropriate precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.

• Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for dimensional inspection where required.

• Ensure inspection equipment and measuring tools are properly maintained and comply with calibration and preventive maintenance requirements.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.

• Maintain proper control of the manufacturing environment and carry out gowning procedures where required.

• Record and maintain accurate inspection, monitoring, and quality data in accordance with document and records control procedures.

• Identify non-conformances and elevate quality issues to the relevant supervisor or department.

• Work closely with production and other teams to support quality improvement and resolve inspection-related issues.

• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements
