Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for our precision engineering and manufacturing operations on Buroh Street, Singapore.

You will conduct First Article, incoming, in-process and final inspections, using CMMs and precision instruments, and read engineering drawings to ensure conformance to GD&T.

The role requires at least 2 years in a machine shop or precision environment and a willingness to work a 5.5-day week in a hands-on team setting.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a machine shop/precision engineering environment.
• Experience in precision engineering or manufacturing.
• Proficient in using common precision measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) is advantageous.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Willing to work in a 5.5-day manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and functional inspections on First Article, incoming, in-process, and outgoing parts.
• Inspect components using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
• Operate CMM for dimensional inspection where required.
• Ensure inspection tools are calibrated and maintained per preventive maintenance requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
• Maintain control of the manufacturing environment and follow gowning procedures.
• Record and maintain accurate inspection data per document and records control procedures.
• Identify non-conformances and escalate quality issues to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support quality improvements.
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Working Days: 5.5 days per week

The Role

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections throughout the manufacturing process, from First Article and incoming inspection to in-process and final outgoing inspection. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards and ensure accurate inspection records.

• Perform dimensional and functional inspections on First Article (FA), incoming, in-process, and outgoing parts according to work instructions and specifications.

• Inspect components using appropriate precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.

• Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for dimensional inspection where required.

• Ensure inspection equipment and measuring tools are properly maintained and comply with calibration and preventive maintenance requirements.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.

• Maintain proper control of the manufacturing environment and carry out gowning procedures where required.

• Record and maintain accurate inspection, monitoring, and quality data in accordance with document and records control procedures.

• Identify non-conformances and elevate quality issues to the relevant supervisor or department.

• Work closely with production and other teams to support quality improvement and resolve inspection-related issues.

• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements
