Job summary

Techware is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to perform dimensional and visual inspections on metal, plastic, and rubber components to ensure drawings and quality standards are met. The role requires hands-on experience with precision measuring equipment and strong documentation practices.

The ideal candidate will read engineering drawings, communicate across production and engineering teams, and be able to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of quality control/inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in using vernier calipers, micrometers, and measuring microscopes.
• Experience with Smart Scope, Vision Measurement Systems, or 3D scanners is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and measuring microscopes.
• Record and report inspection results accurately, maintaining proper documentation and traceability.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer requirements.
• Support continuous improvement activities within the QC department.

Salary Range: Basic Salary + OT commensurate with experience

We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Inspector to join our team. The QC Inspector will be responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspections on precision components made from metal, plastic, and rubber to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with precision measuring equipment and a strong eye for detail to support our manufacturing and quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and measuring microscopes.

Requirements:
