Job summary

Ventós Group, with its Singapore subsidiary Ventós-Vos Pte. Ltd., is seeking a Quality Control Assistant to join our team in Singapore. You will support QC activities, perform routine tests, and help maintain COAs and laboratory records.

The ideal candidate holds a chemistry or related qualification, understands analytical techniques, and communicates clearly in English. You will work closely with the QC team, handling samples, NCRs, and documentation while contributing to a well-organized lab.

Qualifications

• Degree or technical qualification in Chemistry, Laboratory Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of analytical and organic chemistry.
• Previous laboratory or quality control experience is desirable.
• Familiarity with laboratory testing techniques and analytical equipment.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Attention to detail, organisation and accuracy.
• Team spirit, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Control team with analysis and testing of raw materials, finished products, returned materials, and vendor samples.
• Perform routine quality control tests.
• Assist with sample preparation, customer samples, and maintaining the sample library for traceability.
• Assist with COAs and other quality control documentation.
• Assist with organoleptic evaluations and use of laboratory equipment.
• Support the QC Technician with NCRs, technical documentation, and day-to-day QC activities.
• Ensure accurate recording of results and maintain an organized laboratory.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Quality Control Assistant to join our team in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Quality Control team with the analysis and testing of raw materials, finished products, returned materials, and vendor samples.
• Perform routine quality control tests.
• Assist with sample preparation, customer samples, and the maintenance of the sample library to ensure proper traceability.
• Support the preparation and updating of Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and other quality control documentation.
• Assist with organoleptic evaluations and the use of laboratory equipment.
• Support the QC Technician with NCRs, technical documentation, and other day-to-day quality control activities.
• Ensure accurate recording of results and contribute to maintaining an organised and efficient laboratory.

Profile:

• Degree or technical qualification in Chemistry, Laboratory Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Basic knowledge of analytical and organic chemistry.
• Previous laboratory or Quality Control experience is desirable.
• Familiarity with laboratory testing techniques and analytical equipment is an asset.
• Experience in the Flavour & Fragrance or chemical industry is desirable.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
