Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Analyse and document business processes, workflows, and user stories to inform testing strategies and ensure alignment with business requirements
• Develop, review, and align test plans, test cases, test data, scenarios, and strategies to meet established quality standards and compliance requirements
• Execute manual and automated testing using Tricentis TOSCA or equivalent tools, preparing relevant test data to validate system functionality and performance
• Create and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage
• Participate in and review functionality and technical testing, including performance, security, interface integration, and usability assessments to ensure comprehensive system evaluation
• Evaluate test reports and outcomes from appointed contractors by reviewing vendor source code prior to deployment and supporting on-site Acceptance Testing and System Integration Testing (SIT)
• Facilitate and provide support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate user training sessions to ensure smooth system adoption
• Collaborate and coordinate with system stakeholders and contractors throughout the testing lifecycle to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement
• Assess existing testing procedures, identify areas for enhancement, and recommend process optimisations and best practices to improve testing effectiveness and efficiency

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer or electronics engineering, information technology, or related fields is preferred
• Certifications such as Certified Software Testing Professional or Certified Software Quality Analyst are advantageous
• Experience with application support and maintenance for government public services is desirable
• Practical experience with automated testing tools like Tricentis TOSCA or comparable alternatives is beneficial
• Experience performing tests for government public service applications is advantageous
