Job summary

BD in Singapore is seeking a QA Technical Specialist (Technical Leader) to guide quality initiatives and CAPA across product lines. You will mentor the QA team, lead investigations, and develop robust documentation while ensuring GMP/GDP compliance.

Qualifications

• Basic statistical techniques (sampling, trends, SPC).
• Ability to perform data analysis and trending.
• Good knowledge of GDP and GMP practices.
• Familiarity with tools like Minitab, PowerBI or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior QA team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Drive investigations for non-conformances and customer complaints; implement CAPAs.
• Develop, review and approve quality documentation (SOPs, specs, validation protocols, reports).
• Participate in internal and external audits; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to ensure compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead quality-system initiatives.

Job Summary

The QA Technical Specialist (Technical Leader) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of Becton Dickinson Medical (S) Pte. Ltd.'s products and processes. This position involves leading technical quality initiatives, providing expert guidance on complex quality issues, and driving continuous improvement within the quality management system.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior QA team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.


• Drive investigations for non-conformances, and customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).


• Develop, review, and approve quality documentation, including SOPs, specifications, validation protocols, and technical reports.


• Participate in and lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.


• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing to ensure compliance.


• Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance within the quality system.

Education And Experience

Preferably Diploma in mechanical, biomedical, material engineering or any Engineering field with minimum 1-2 years, fresh entry are welcomed.

Knowledge And Skills

• Basic statistical techniques (sampling, trends, SPC)


• Able to perform data analysis and trending


• Good Knowledge on Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)


• knowledge/familiar with Microsoft, Minitab, Powerbi or etc tools


• Able to understand/familiar with concepts of testing equipment (instrons, pressure gauge testing, etc)

Working Hours: 7am- 4pm
