Job summary

KOUFU PTE LTD is seeking a QA/QC professional to ensure the quality and safety of food products from incoming materials to finished goods. You will support audit processes, verify lab analyses, and implement corrective actions across production lines.

The role requires knowledge of FSSC 22000/ISO 22000, Halal, and Singapore Food Authority requirements, with strong collaboration across stakeholders and basic data handling in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, Food Processing Engineering, Quality Assurance or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance is preferred; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge of Food quality systems such as FSSC 22000/ISO 22000, Halal and Singapore Food Authority requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute quality assurance system including incoming, in-process, finished product checkpoints and laboratory analysis.
• Perform material inspections and control limits.
• Review and update standards, methods and equipment used in inspection procedures.
• Prepare audit schedule and conduct internal or external audits.
• Issue corrective action requests for process discrepancies and defects.
• Identify and address quality/hygiene issues in the plant with corrective actions.
• Inspect and report on customer complaints and propose corrective/preventive actions.
• Train production QC on quality control checkpoints.
• Assist QA Manager in compiling monthly QA reports.
• Verify external lab analyses and reports.
• Carry out periodic checks on raw materials storage at forwarders’ warehouse.
• Participate in improvement initiatives.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute quality assurance system. Including incoming (raw materials) checkpoints, in-process checkpoints, finished product checkpoints, and laboratory analysis.

• Properly execute material inspection procedures and control limits.

• Review and update standards, methods and equipment used in inspection procedures.

• Prepare audit schedule audit checklist. Well execution of internal or external audits

• Responsible for in-process quality defect detection effectiveness. Issue corrective action requests to the relevant department or party on any process discrepancy.

• To be alert on any possible quality and hygienic problem in the plant, and carry out appropriate corrective and preventive action.

• To inspect and report on any customer complaints. To suggest a corrective action plan and preventative action plan. To issue CAR to relevant department and party if necessary.

• To train production QC on related quality control checkpoints

• Assist QA Manager or Senior QA Executive in compiling monthly QA report

• Verify external lab analysis and reports.

• Carry out periodic checks/audit on raw materials storage condition at forwarders’ warehouse.

• Participate in the improvement initiative

• Other tasks assign by immediate superior

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, Food Processing Engineering, Quality Assurance or a related discipline. Candidates with relevant industry experience are also encouraged to apply

• Relevant experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance is preferred. Fresh graduates and entry-level candidates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply

• Good knowledge of Food quality systems such as FSSC 22000/ISO 22000, Halal and Singapore Food Authority requirements

• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders

• Able to perform basic statistical collation with general working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

• Able to perform audits and good in GMP inspection
