Job summary

HOYA Electronics Singapore is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA function across its advanced semiconductor manufacturing operations. You will drive robust quality systems, problem solving, risk management, and continuous improvement in close collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, Process Technology, and Production teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 10+ years in quality leadership, and strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with minimum 10 years in quality management.
• Experience leading QA in semiconductor/manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, audit management, and quality governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Assurance function to meet customer, regulatory and internal quality requirements.
• Drive structured problem solving including 8D, RCA and CAPA to containment and prevention.
• Implement PFMEA, Control Plans, and robust change management across operations.
• Develop quality roadmaps and KPIs to improve yield and COPQ.
• Build a high performing quality organization and coach quality engineers.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and audit readiness.
