Job summary

We are seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to develop, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System for a semiconductor manufacturing organisation in Singapore. The role requires hands-on work across manufacturing, engineering and quality teams and strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

Responsibilities include leading audits, APQP/PPAP/MSA/SPC/FMEA, change-control processes and calibration traceability, with a focus on achieving and sustaining certification readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Around 5 years of relevant Quality/QMS experience, preferably within semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949; auditor certification is preferred.
• Good knowledge of APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and Control Plan methodologies.
• VDA 6.3 Process Auditor certification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QMS policies, procedures and quality documentation.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of the organisation's Quality Management System.
• Drive ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification and audit-readiness activities.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and coordinate external/customer certification audits.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory, customer and internal quality requirements.
• Lead root-cause investigations using 5 Why, Fishbone and other structured problem-solving tools.
• Manage quality activities including APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and Control Plans.
• Establish and support change-control processes and customer quality communications.
• Ensure calibration and measurement traceability requirements are maintained.
• Train and coach employees on quality standards, QMS requirements and IATF core tools.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
