Job summary

SINGAPORE ASAHI CHEMICAL & SOLDER INDUSTRIES PTE. LTD. seeks an Assistant Quality Manager to lead QC/QA and drive the company’s QMS across ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949.

You will manage the Quality Manual and documentation, coordinate internal and external audits, mentor the QA/QC team and collaborate with Production and other functions to assure product quality and regulatory compliance. You will analyze quality data, lead problem-solving (8D, PFMEA, SPC, GR&R) and implement CAPA actions

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years in QA/QC within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing and maintaining QMS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949.
• Hands-on experience planning and conducting internal and external audits.
• Good knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, GR&R, 8D, CAPA).
• Strong analytical, leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QMS implementation and continual improvement per ISO 9001/ISO 14001 and IATF 16949.
• Manage Quality Manual, procedures and controlled documents with proper versioning.
• Ensure QC/QA activities comply with standards, regulatory and customer specs.
• Lead QA/QC team and coordinate with Production and other departments.
• Conduct audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
