Job summary

MITTRI ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to manage project costs, prepare tender and contract documents, and support financial administration for ERSS works and construction projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge and experience in piling works.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage measurements and cost estimates from initial calculations to final accounts.
• Prepare tender and contract documents compliant with regulations and standards.
• Evaluate tenders and negotiate terms with contractors and subcontractors.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for project and tender submissions.
• Conduct cost analysis and monitor project costs to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Assess progress payments and variations for clients and subcontractors to maintain smooth workflow.
• Liaise with clients, management, and subcontractors to monitor progress of main and subcontract works.
• Track project progress and handle measurement and valuation of variations for interim payments and final accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures.

• Prepare and manage measurements and cost estimates for ERSS works projects from initial calculations through to final accounts
• Prepare tender and contract documents compliant with relevant regulations and standards
• Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and negotiate terms to secure favorable outcomes
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for project and tender submissions
• Conduct cost analysis and monitor project costs to ensure alignment with project objectives
• Assess progress payments and variation works for clients and subcontractors to maintain smooth workflow
• Liaise with clients, management, and subcontractors to monitor progress of main and subcontract works

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Candidates with extensive experience and proven track record may be considered for a Senior position
