Job summary

E-CRUIT TEAM PTE. LTD. Seletar-based quality inspector role focuses on checking and measuring parts to ensure drawings and customer requirements are met, using calipers, micrometers, CMMs and laser trackers.

You will inspect during production, before delivery and on first production of new parts, report defects, support production, engineering and procurement, and keep the inspection area audit-ready.

Qualifications

• Higher Nitec or equivalent in mechanical/precision fields.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• 5 days work week (Mon-Fri, 8am-5:30pm).

Responsibilities

• Check and measure parts to ensure they meet the required measurements and quality standards.
• Read and understand technical drawings to ensure parts are made according to specifications.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMM machines and laser trackers to inspect parts.
• Carry out inspections during production, before delivery, and when new parts are produced for the first time.
• Identify and report defects or issues, and follow up with relevant departments to resolve them.
• Ensure all inspected parts meet the required quality standards and customer requirements.
• Keep the inspection room clean, organized and ready for audits.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering and Procurement teams to support daily operations.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Min Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing or any equivalent technical qualifications
• Min 1 year experience within a manufacturing environment
• 5 days work week (Mon to Fri 8am-530pm)
• Working Location: Seletar
• Salary: Up to $3000
• Able to start work within short notice
