Job summary

PERSOL OUTSOURCING SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to perform incoming inspections, verify drawings and specifications, and maintain inspection records. The role involves operating CMM systems and collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues.

The candidate should have a diploma or degree in quality/engineering, relevant QA/QC experience, and proficiency in MS Office. A manufacturing environment exposure is preferred.

• Inspect incoming materials, components and parts to meet quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and records accurately.
• Assist in operating CMM systems and validate measurement programmes.
• Conduct dimensional measurements and verify results against specifications.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues.
• Follow up on non-conformance actions and ensure proper corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation and ensure inspection records are updated.
• Support QA team in quality improvement activities and assigned tasks.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform incoming quality inspections according to control plans, engineering drawings and specifications
• Inspect incoming materials, components and parts to ensure they meet required quality standards
• Prepare and maintain accurate incoming inspection reports and records
• Assist in operating Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) systems and validate measurement programmes
• Conduct dimensional measurements and verify inspection results against specifications
• Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality-related issues
• Follow up on supplier non-conformance actions and ensure corrective actions are properly addressed
• Conduct form, fit and functional checks and other inspections when required
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure inspection records are updated accurately
• Support the QA team in quality improvement activities and other assigned tasks
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the QA Lead or Manager

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
• Candidates with relevant Nitec or Higher Nitec qualifications and suitable experience may also be considered
• Prior experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Incoming Quality Inspection or Engineering will be an advantage
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings, specifications and measurement techniques
• Experience with CMM or other dimensional measurement equipment will be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

• Willing to learn and work in a manufacturing or engineering environment
