Job summary

INCAVO PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a quality control inspector to inspect, test, and sample materials or assembled parts for defects according to the job traveller. You will perform dimensional checks with calipers, gauges, or micrometers, read technical drawings, and report data to the server.

The role involves bench top soldering and participating in corrective actions with suppliers and production teams. Proficiency in reading drawings is advantageous and a degree/diploma in related fields is

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in related fields.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Able to read technical drawings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and sample materials or assembled parts for defects and deviations from specifications.
• Perform inspection using calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
• Maintain QC and production equipment and ensure tools are calibrated as per plan.
• Cosmetic inspection using vision scope and dimensional checks.
• Perform bench top soldering process.
• Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend corrective actions.
• Reject RTV items not meeting specs and work with supplier on improvements.
• Perform assembly on small test jigs.
• Report test data generation and upload to server.
• Support costomer feedback and improvement with the manager.

Job description

Inspect, test, and sample materials or assembled parts or products for defects and deviations from specifications according to job traveller.

Perform inspection using scopes, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.

Maintain QC and production equipments. Ensure tools are calibrated as per plan.

Cosmetic inspection using vision scope (Keyence) and dimensional check using Smart Scope.

Performe bench top soldering process.

Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions.

RTV reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications, work with supplier on improvements.

Able to read technical drawings and specifications will be added advantages.

Perform assembly job on small test jig.

Report test data generation and uploading to server.

Work with manager to support costomer feedback and improvement.
