Job summary

HAITIAN NEW MATERIALS SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a QC Technician to perform routine quality control inspections and tests on incoming, intermediate and outgoing materials, ensuring compliance with established procedures.

You will record test results in inspections records, Lot History and SAP, perform usage decisions in SAP, raise non-conformances when needed, and maintain equipment, samples and quality records.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical Process Technology/Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Material Science and or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in Quality Control/inspection/testing in a laboratory environment.
• Strong PC knowledge with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control inspection and tests on incoming, intermediate and outgoing materials according to established Operating and Test procedures.
• Record test results in inspection records, Lot History, and SAP Inspection Lot.
• Perform usage decisions in SAP system.
• Report abnormalities to supervisor and raise Non-Conformance reports as needed (Out of Control, Out of Spec, equipment issue, insufficient consumables).
• Clean and maintains inspection and test equipment before and after use.
• Retain and manage QC samples and quality records.
• Perform outgoing shipment checks in the warehouse.
• Support in weekly/monthly tasks such as calibration of equipment, waste disposal, and consumables ordering.
• Assist in continual improvement projects and SAP weighing/posting of samples.

Job description

Daily Routine:

• Perform routine quality control inspection and tests on incoming, intermediate and outgoing materials according to the established Operating and Test.

• Responsible for Results recording of tests results in inspection Records, Lot History, and SAP Inspection lot

• Perform usage decision in SAP system.

• Report to the immediate supervisor on any abnormality observed in QC Inspection Process and raise Non-Conformance report as and when necessary e.g. Out of Control, Out of Spec, equipment issue, insufficient consumable etc.

• Cleans and maintains inspection and test equipment before and after use

• Responsible for the QC sample retention and management

• Responsible for the quality records retention and management

• Perform Outgoing Shipment Check in the Warehouse

Weekly/Monthly Routine:

• Check and ensure verification, calibration and maintenance status of laboratory equipment is kept updated.

• Conduct proper waste disposal and ensure regular clearance.

• Trigger ordering of consumables if stock runs low.

• Support in the identification of projects for continual improvement of the area.

• Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by the immediate supervisors and when necessary.

• Support sample inventory and accounting by performing actual physical weighing and posting in SAP.

Job Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical Process Technology/Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Material Science and or equivalent

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experiences in Quality Control/inspection/testing in laboratory environment

• With strong PC knowledge (MS Office tools)

• Able to work independently and safely with minimum supervision in accordance with company's safety procedures and safety checks.

• Able to work under pressure and tight schedules.

• Good interpersonal and communication skill.
