Job summary

HAITIAN NEW MATERIALS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform routine QC tests on materials, record results in SAP, and support documentation and ship-checks in the warehouse.

The role requires 2–3 years of QC experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently under safety procedures in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical Process Technology/Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Material Science or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of QC/inspection/testing experience in a lab.
• Proficient in MS Office and data entry.
• Ability to work independently and safely under safety procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control inspections and tests on incoming, intermediate, and outgoing materials.
• Record test results in inspection records, Lot History, and SAP.
• Make usage decisions in SAP.
• Report abnormalities and raise non-conformance reports as needed.
• Clean and maintain inspection and test equipment.
• Manage QC sample retention and documentation.
• Perform outgoing shipment checks in the warehouse.
• Verify calibration and maintenance status of lab equipment.
• Dispose waste properly and keep areas clean.
• Order consumables when stock runs low.
• Support improvement projects in the area.
• Assist with sample inventory and SAP postings.

Job description

JobResponsibilities

Daily Routine:

• Perform routine quality control inspection and tests on incoming, intermediate and outgoing materials according to the established Operating and Test.
• Responsible for Results recording of tests results in inspection Records, Lot History, and SAP Inspection lot
• Perform usage decision in SAP system.
• Report to the immediate supervisor on any abnormality observed in QC Inspection Process and raise Non-Conformance report as and when necessary e.g. Out of Control, Out of Spec, equipment issue, insufficient consumable etc.
• Cleans and maintains inspection and test equipment before and after use
• Responsible for the QC sample retention and management
• Responsible for the quality records retention and management
• Perform Outgoing Shipment Check in the Warehouse

Weekly/Monthly Routine:

• Check and ensure verification, calibration and maintenance status of laboratory equipment is kept updated.
• Conduct proper waste disposal and ensure regular clearance.
• Trigger ordering of consumables if stock runs low.
• Support in the identification of projects for continual improvement of the area.
• Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by the immediate supervisors and when necessary.
• Support sample inventory and accounting by performing actual physical weighing and posting in SAP.

Job Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical Process Technology/Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Material Science and or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experiences in Quality Control/inspection/testing in laboratory environment
• With strong PC knowledge (MS Office tools)
• Able to work independently and safely with minimum supervision in accordance with company's safety procedures and safety checks.
• Able to work under pressure and tight schedules.
• Good interpersonal and communication skill.
