Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Micro Lab Analyst (Shift) for a 1-year contract in the West region. The role covers testing and result review for environmental monitoring and microbiological testing for Pilot Plant and Process Research Laboratory, with coordination to ensure timely turnover of results.

Ideal candidates hold a Degree in Microbiology (1–3 years) or a Diploma (5+ years), with knowledge of food microbiology, cGMP and HACCP, and familiarity with microbiological techniques.

Qualifications

• Degree in Microbiology or related discipline with 1 to 3 years experience.
• Or Diploma in Microbiology / Biotechnology/Food Technology or related discipline with more than 5 years experiences.
• Knowledge of food microbiology, cGMP and HACCP.
• Good understanding of the microbiological techniques and methods used.
• Required to work under 12 hours permanent day shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform all testing activities and result reviewing for environmental monitoring and microbiological testing.
• Coordinate between operations and microbiological laboratory to ensure timely turnover of testing results.
• Perform swabbing verification regularly.
• Alert in the event of any over action limit (OAL) or out-of-specifications (OOS) timely.
• Participate in investigations for adverse trend in environmental monitoring program, intermediates or finished product microbiological testing failures.
• To assess the hygiene health and increase if there is any adverse trend.
• Ensure sufficient consumables to support environmental monitoring program.
• Ensure all operations in the laboratory are carried out in a safe and productive manner, adhering to GMP/GLP and ISO/IEC 17025standards at all times
