Job summary

AIM RECRUIT CONSULTANCY PTE. LIMITED is seeking a QA/QC Engineer in Tuas to implement QA/QC procedures for façade and curtain wall projects, working on site five and a half days. Up to SGD 6,500 monthly, dependent on experience.

You will inspect installations, monitor workmanship and materials, prepare ITPs and QA/QC documentation, and support audits with project teams. Requires a Diploma/Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Building Engineering, at least 3 years’ QA/QC experience in façade or curtain

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Engineering.
• At least 3 years of QA/QC experience in façade or curtain wall.
• Knowledge of curtain wall systems, aluminum and glass façades, and installation methods.
• Experience in preparing QCPs, ITPs, QA/QC docs and reports.
• Able to read architectural drawings, shop drawings, specs and method statements.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and MS Project.

QAQC Engineer /5.5 days /Up to $6,500 @ Tuas

• Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures for façade and curtain wall projects.
• Inspect structural, architectural & façade installation i.e steel, stainless steel, aluminum extrusions
• Monitor workmanship, material quality and installation processes to meeet project requirements.
• Pre-inspections and final inspections to ensure works are completed to the required quality standards.
• Identify quality defects, recommend corrective actions and monitor rectification works.
• Prepare Quality Control Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, QA/QC procedures & inspection checklists.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test results and relevant project documentation.
• Prepare QA/QC reports, non-conformance reports and corrective action reports.
• Support quality audits, and coordinate with internal/external on quality-related matters.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Site inspections to ensure installation sequences and adherence to approved method statements.
• Attend quality coordination meetings, inspections and audits with relevant stakeholders.
• Technical guidance and conduct quality-related training for site personnel/subcontractor.
• Work closely with project teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurring defects.
• Support project handover by ensuring documentation, inspections & rectification are completed.

• At least 3 years of relevant QA/QC experience in the façade or curtain wall industry.
• Knowledge of curtain wall systems, aluminum and glass façade systems, and installation methods.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and MS Project.
