Job summary

OVERSEAS TECHNICAL ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to ensure the rigorous execution of inspection plans on site. You will monitor daily QA/QC activities, witness tests, and coordinate with clients and sub-contractors to enforce ITP requirements.

The role requires relevant petrochemical/oil & gas QA/QC experience, CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent, and proficiency in MS Office. 5.5 days work week at project sites. Join a dynamic team delivering critical projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Petrochemical or Oil & Gas QA/QC experience.
• AWS/CSWIP 3.1 inspector or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in MS Office and documentation control.
• Willing to work 5.5 days and on project site.

Responsibilities

• Execute approved inspection and test plans at the site.
• Monitor and supervise daily QA/QC works (tankage, piping, structure, mechanical).
• Monitor NDT/PWHT status to avoid backlog before delivery to site.
• Witness and inspect project materials and arrange inspections.
• Liaise with QA/QC supervisors/inspectors, clients or sub-contractors for QC plan implementation.
• Perform and witness daily QC activities and tests per ITP and project requirements.
• Inspect raw materials, bought-out items; review MTC and specs to comply with ITP.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for effective execution of approved inspection test plans
• Monitor and supervise daily QA/QC works - Tankage / Piping / Structure / Mechanical at the site
• Monitor NDT / PWHT status to ensure no backlog prior delivery to site
• Witness and inspect the project materials and arrange for inspection
• Liaise with QA / QC supervisors/inspectors, clients or sub-contractors for site QC plan implementation
• Perform and witness daily QC activities and testings to ensure they are as per ITP and project requirement
• Conduct inspection of raw materials, bought out items and review of Material Test Certificates (MTC) and the specification requirements to comply with Inspection & Test Plan (ITP)requirements
• Produce NDT/Weld Map and joint summary
• Issue NCR, SCAR and QANas required where defective workmanship of deviations from Procedural requirements are detected

Requirements:

• Possess AWS/CSWIP 3.1inspector or equivalent qualification
• At least 5 year’s relevant experience in Petrochemical or Oil and Gas Industry
• Proficient in MS office application
• Able to work under demanding condition during project and as a team and individual independently
• Familiar with code and standards – API, AWS, ANSI, ASME, TEMA etc
• Willing to work 5.5 days work week and at the project site
