Job summary

Global Engineering Group in Singapore seeks a Regional QA/QC & QEHS Assistant Manager to oversee quality, environmental, health and safety compliance across its overseas subsidiaries in ASEAN and India. You will drive regional QA/QC improvements and ensure adherence to ISO standards.

The role requires 5-10 years in QA/QC within M&E/HVAC or construction, a mechanical/electrical/construction background, and willingness to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Construction Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of QA/QC or Quality Management experience in M&E/HVAC/construction.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and QMS requirements.
• Good working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Experience conducting internal audits, site inspections and corrective actions.
• Strong technical understanding of M&E QA/QC practices.
• Willingness to undertake regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regional quality, environmental and safety audits across overseas subsidiaries.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, internal procedures and specs.
• Identify non-conformities, investigate quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Review and strengthen QA/QC procedures, documentation and reporting.
• Assess practices, identify gaps and recommend improvements to QEHS systems.
• Consolidate regional performance reports and communicate findings to management.
• Collaborate with country teams to promote consistent standards and best practices.
• Support workflow digitalisation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.

• Conduct regional quality, environmental and safety audits, site inspections and compliance assessments across overseas subsidiaries.
  Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, internal procedures and relevant specifications.

• Identify non-conformities, investigate quality issues and drive corrective and preventive actions.

• Review and strengthen QA/QC procedures, quality management documentation, audit records and reporting processes.

• Assess existing practices, identify operational gaps and recommend improvements to quality and QEHS management systems.

• Consolidate regional performance reports and communicate findings, risks and improvement actions to management.

• Collaborate with country teams to promote consistent quality standards, share best practices and strengthen QEHS capabilities.

• Support workflow digitalisation and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.

• 5-10 years of relevant QA/QC or Quality Management experience within the M&E, HVAC and/or construction industry.

• Strong understanding of quality management systems, including practical experience implementing or maintaining QMS requirements.

• Good working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

• Experience conducting internal audits, site inspections, compliance assessments and corrective action follow-ups.

• Strong technical understanding of M&E engineering quality assurance and control practices.

• Willingness to undertake regional travel
