Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on QA Engineer to support quality operations in a precision engineering and manufacturing environment in Singapore.

You will collaborate with production, suppliers and customers to ensure product and process quality. The role requires 2–5 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing, the ability to read engineering drawings, and knowledge of QA/QC techniques and ISO 9001 systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Engineering or related discipline.
• 2-5 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001; ISO 13485/AS9100D is an advantage.
• Capable of leading QC personnel and working independently when required.
• Familiarity with NCR, root cause analysis, CAPA and quality investigations.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee product quality inspections per customer specifications and requirements.
• Lead QC Inspectors in incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections.
• Work with Production to identify, investigate, and resolve quality-related issues.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality complaints, feedback and corrective actions.
• Initiate non-conformance investigations and drive CAPA to closure.
• Maintain and manage QMS documentation and records.
• Support internal and external quality audits.
• Ensure quality procedures and inspection activities are followed per requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned by management.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM; Saturday, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Our client is an established precision engineering and manufacturing company in Singapore , specialising in the production of high-precision components and engineering solutions for customers across various industries. The company is looking for a hands‑on and detail-oriented QA Engineer to support its quality operations and work closely with production, suppliers, and customers to ensure product and process quality.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee product quality inspections in accordance with customer specifications and requirements.
• Lead and supervise QC Inspectors in carrying out incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections .
• Work closely with the Production team to identify, investigate, and resolve quality-related issues.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers/vendors regarding quality complaints, feedback, and corrective actions.
• Initiate non-conformance investigations , conduct initial root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans through to closure.
• Maintain and manage Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and records.
• Support and participate in internal and external quality audits .
• Ensure quality procedures and inspection activities are consistently followed in accordance with company and customer requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.
• Perform any other quality-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or higher in Engineering or a related discipline .
• 2-5 years of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a precision engineering or similar environment.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents .
• Good knowledge of QA/QC techniques, inspection procedures, and quality methodologies .
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 is required; knowledge of ISO 13485, AS9100D, or other relevant quality standards will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with NCR, root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality investigations is preferred.
• Able to lead and supervise QC personnel while working independently when required.
