Job summary

H2 GAMES PTE. LTD. is seeking a backend QA engineer to strengthen our testing of API services and game-related backends. You will own automation, design reliable tests, and collaborate with engineering to mitigate risks in upcoming features.

You will apply AI-assisted testing, develop data generation strategies, and contribute to CI/CD workflows. Familiarity with SQL/ELK/Redis and backend infrastructure is beneficial. This role suits a hands-on tester who loves games.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 1–3 years of backend testing or QA experience.
• Experience with API testing and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Test the backend services of our platform, including API, performance, and stability testing.
• Own test automation and work closely with engineers to understand new features and potential risks, translating them into reliable automated API and integration tests integrated into CI pipelines.
• Leverage AI tools in your daily workflow to write and improve tests, generate test data, review code, analyze logs, and troubleshoot failures.
• Maintain and improve test environments, test data, mocks, and other tools needed by the engineering team.
• Investigate bugs with engineers, support releases, and help continuously improve our testing strategy, tooling, and overall quality engineering practices.
