Job summary

H2 Games in Singapore seeks an experienced Backend Engineer to architect and build internal systems and platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to connect back-end services with front-end platforms and databases.

You will optimize performance and reliability of back-end systems, troubleshoot issues, document designs, and contribute to coding standards and deployment processes, with emphasis on Java, Golang, Python, and PHP, plus middleware knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Min of 5 years of professional experience in a similar capacity.
• Proficiency in Java, Golang, Python and PHP; candidates with Java or Golang preferred.
• Familiar with Linux, MySQL, RPC, MQ, caching technologies, and microservice architectures.
• Experience with API development and integration is essential.
• Strong understanding of business needs with leadership in large-scale software projects.
