Job summary

NCS Group, a leading AI Tech Services company in Asia Pacific, is hiring a Software Test Engineer to lead testing of software and applications to meet specifications and client needs. You'll design tests, prepare test plans, and ensure readiness of test environments.

You will execute tests, analyze results, generate reports, support UAT/OSAT with end users, and promote automated testing frameworks. Familiarity with Kafka, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and Unity client apps is a plus.

Qualifications

• Typically 2+ years’ IT/testing experience with knowledge of test methodology and various test tools.
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management of Information Systems or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze testing requirements to prepare test plan, and test design/ test cases.
• Prepare and ensure readiness of test bed and test environment to carry out the test execution.
• Execute test in accordance to the test design/test cases.
• Analyze test results and work with respective teams to resolve issues such as defect open and resolution rate, bottlenecks in performance and other defects.
• Prepare test report for submission and provide regular test results updates.
• Work closely with end users to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and On-Site Acceptance Testing (OSAT).
• Recommend, implement, and maintain automated testing tools and frameworks where applicable.
• Manage and coordinate testing activities to ensure timely completion according to project schedules.
