Job summary

H2 GAMES PTE. LTD. is seeking a backend QA engineer to strengthen our testing of API services and game-related backends. You will own automation, design reliable tests, and collaborate with engineering to mitigate risks in upcoming features.

You will apply AI-assisted testing, develop data generation strategies, and contribute to CI/CD workflows. Familiarity with SQL/ELK/Redis and backend infrastructure is beneficial. This role suits a hands-on tester who loves games.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of backend testing or QA experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 1–3 years of experience in backend testing, test automation, or quality engineering.
• Good coding skills in at least one programming language. Experience with TypeScript or Python is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with API testing and test automation, using tools or frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, Pytest, or similar.
• Familiar with using AI tools as part of your regular development or testing workflow.
• You are comfortable providing effective context, reviewing AI-generated code, and validating outputs for correctness and reliability.
• Comfortable working with SQL, ELK, Redis and caching systems, as well as CI/CD pipelines and common backend infrastructure.
• Interested in games and care about the player experience. Experience testing AI-powered features, game backends, or AI-generated content is a plus.
