Job summary

Yixin Precision Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore is hiring a QA Engineer for plastic injection molding. You will lead QA Inspectors, support FAI/Validation, and manage MSA/Gauge R&R, SPC and process capability to ensure product quality.

The role requires 2–5 years in QA in manufacturing and GD&T proficiency. Ideal candidates will have experience with ISO 9001/IATF16949/ISO13485 and CAPA implementation, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Quality Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of QA/Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in plastic injection molding is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with FAI/PPAP/PFMEA/Control Plan is a plus.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / ISO 13485 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of QA Inspectors and provide technical guidance on inspection and quality issues.
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and Validation for new/modified products.
• Support MSA/Gauge R&R, calibration and measurement system activities.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and GD&T requirements.
• Establish and monitor SPC, Cp/Cpk, and process capability for critical characteristics.
• Investigate internal quality issues, process defects and customer complaints.
• Implement and follow up on CAPA.
• Monitor quality trends, scrap, rejection and rework; identify improvements.
• Support customer, supplier, internal and external quality audits.
• Prepare quality reports, analyses and presentations for management and customers.

Mold making include specialty mold for metal injection molding (MIM) and die casting molds. The end molded compoenents could be use for disposable medical devices or microfluidics chips.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a group of QA Inspectors and provide technical guidance on inspection and quality-related issues.

• Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and Validation for new and modified products.

• Support MSA / Gauge R&R, calibration and measurement system activities.

• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Precision Engineering, Quality Engineering or related discipline.

• 2-5 years of relevant QA / Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing environment.

• Experience in plastic injection molding will be highly advantageous.

• Good knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.

• Experience with CMM / Vision Management Systems is preferred.

• Knowledge of SPC, Cp/Cpk, MSA, and Gauge R&R.

• Experience with FAI / PPAP / PFMEA / Control Plan will be an advantage.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / ISO 13485 will be an advantage.

• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently as well as in a cross-functional team.
