ARGYLL SCOTT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Python Developer to join a technology team within a leading financial services organisation in Singapore. You will build enterprise-grade web applications using Python and ReactJS.

Responsibilities include developing REST APIs and WebSockets, data processing with NumPy and Pandas, and contributing to architecture and scalable solutions. Global Markets experience is a plus for this 12-month contract with potential extension.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong web application development experience to join a technology team within a leading financial services organisation.

The role will involve developing and enhancing enterprise-grade applications supporting business-critical functions. Experience within Global Markets, particularly front-office trading or risk systems, would be highly advantageous.

• Develop and enhance enterprise-grade applications using Python.

• Perform data analysis and processing using NumPy and Pandas.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience as a Python Developer / Software Engineer.
• Deep knowledge of Python, NumPy and Pandas.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and WebSockets.
• Good hands-on experience with ReactJS / web frontend development.
• Proven experience working on complex, enterprise-grade systems — this is essential.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.
• Financial Services / Banking experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Global Markets, particularly front-office trading and/or risk systems, would be an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
