Job summary

NTT Data Singapore seeks an experienced Python developer to design and build scalable modules for our trading-fintech platforms. You will own end-to-end delivery, analyze requirements, and integrate applications with middleware such as Avro Kafka and database designs.

You will deploy on OpenShift through CI/CD, collaborate with support, developers and product owners to ensure smooth releases, and adapt to demanding timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computing / Computer Science / Engineering is preferred; 3 to 8 years experience in financial/fintech.
• Experience in supporting trading desk; Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging abilities for 2-tier and multi-tier applications.
• First line application support experience for trading systems and back office; issue analysis from end users.
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Experience documenting design and development work in Confluence.
• Expertise in Python (OOP, Flask/Django, multi-trading, web sockets, pandas/NumPy).
• Experience in SQL/PL-SQL with at least one RDBMS, preferably MariaDB and MS-SQL.
• Shell scripting; Linux, OpenShift, Kafka/Avro, Docker, Nginx, Redis Sentinel, AngularJS basics, Rest APIs (Flask), JSON, WebSockets; CI/CD with Bitbucket.

Job Requirements:

• Should have worked as first line application support for trading systems and back office with experience inanalysing of issues raised by end users and general system checks and maintenance tasks.
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Experience in documenting the design and development work in confluence.
• Expertise in Python (OOPs Concepts, flask/Django frame works, multi-trading, web sockets, and analytics tools suchas pandas, NumPy etc).
• Highly Experienced in Database designing of SQL and PL-SQL with expertise in at least one RDBMS, preferably MariaDB and MS- SQL.
• Highly Experienced in writing batch scripts using shell scripting.
• Experience in Linux, OpenShift, Avro based kafka, Dockers, Nginx, Sentinel Redis, AngularJS basics, Rest APIs (Flask),JSON and web sockets amongst others. Experience in CI-CD (Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery) pipeline with experience in Bitbucket.
