Job summary

Argyll Scott Singapore is seeking an experienced Python Developer to join a technology team within a leading financial services organisation in Singapore. You will build and enhance enterprise-grade applications, with emphasis on Python, data processing with NumPy/Pandas, and frontend work using ReactJS.

Experience in Global Markets or front-office trading/risk systems is advantageous, as is strong software architecture knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience as a Python Developer/Software Engineer.
• Deep knowledge of Python, NumPy and Pandas.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and WebSockets.
• Good hands-on experience with ReactJS/web frontend development.
• Proven experience on complex, enterprise-grade systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance enterprise-grade applications using Python.
• Build web applications and user interfaces using ReactJS.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and WebSockets.
• Perform data analysis and processing with NumPy and Pandas.
• Contribute to architecture, system design and technical solutioning.
• Work with business and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, reliability and maintainability standards.
