Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support procurement for marine projects in Singapore. The role involves handling PRs, obtaining quotations, issuing POs, and tracking deliveries to ensure timely, compliant purchases.

You will coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams, while maintaining documentation and monthly purchasing reports. Proficiency in MS Office is essential; marine industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least GCE 'O' Level or Higher Nitec or Diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Marine Industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle Purchase Requisition (PR) processes from request to quotations.
• Source and obtain quotations from approved vendors and compare bids.
• Generate and issue Purchase Orders based on approvals.
• Track deliveries, monitor shipments, and liaise with freight forwarders.
• Coordinate LC shipments and import operations where needed.
• Prepare and submit monthly purchasing reports.
