Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Purchasing Executive for a permanent role in the Food Wholesaler/Distribution sector at Senoko.

The position offers a 5.25-day work week (Mon–Fri, 8.30am–5.45pm; Sat half-day) with a salary package up to SGD 4,000 plus AWS and a variable bonus. Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with shelf-life management is advantageous.
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders and local procurement activities, ensuring timely and accurate order processing.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Collaborate with Sales to align procurement plans with demand forecasts and ensure product availability.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance for smooth receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and resolve stock discrepancies to minimise shortages and wastage.
• Verify quality and quantity of incoming goods, including shelf-life considerations.

Our esteemed client in the Food Wholesaler/ Distribution industry is seeking a Purchasing Executive to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Purchasing Executive
• Location: Senoko
• Working Hours: 5.25 days [Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 5.45pm; Half day on Sat]
• Salary Package: Up to $4,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage purchase orders and local procurement activities, ensuring timely and accurate order processing.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, favourable payment terms, and reliable delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to align procurement plans with demand forecasts and ensure product availability.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure smooth receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and resolve stock discrepancies to minimise shortages, excess inventory, and product wastage.
• Verify the quality and quantity of incoming goods, including products with shelf-life considerations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, and purchasing reports in compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

Job Requirements:

• At least Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience purchasing food products or other inventory with shelf-life management is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
• Experience using SAP HANA or other ERP systems is an advantage.
• Registered Customs Declarant certification will be an added advantage.
