Job summary

GLOBALWIDE INTERNATIONAL PTE LTD is seeking a procurement professional to build and manage supplier relationships, oversee vendor contracts and align sourcing strategies with project needs.

You will monitor market trends, verify deliveries against orders, and contribute to tender documentation while working in a dynamic Singapore environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in business/admin, supply chain, engineering or economics.
• At least 2 years in electrical industry with purchasing/procurement.
• Able to work under tight deadlines in fast-paced environments.
• Strong teamwork, communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of overseas shipping and electrical hardware procurement.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with suppliers and vendors

• Evaluate and manage vendor contracts while ensuring effective and consistent communication

• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to secure cost-effective, long-term procurement agreements

• Verify delivered goods against purchase orders and liaise with vendors to resolve any discrepancies

• Assist in the preparation and compilation of tender and project documentation

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor Degree in related disciplines like business administration, supply chain management, engineering and economics.

• At least 2 years of experience in the electrical industry with purchasing/procurement experience

• Able to perform effectively under tight deadlines and fast-paced environments

• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently

• Good communication and negotiation abilities

• Knowledge and experience in overseas shipping and general/electrical hardware procurement
