Job summary

Databricks is looking for an Account Executive to accelerate growth in APJ, with a focus on Singapore’s public sector. You will acquire and grow key customers, guide deals through the evaluation process, and partner with the SDR team to build pipeline.

You will articulate the value of the Unified Analytics Platform, engage with business and technical decision-makers, and strive to exceed revenue targets while expanding relationships with existing accounts and local partners.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience selling SaaS to Public Sector/Enterprise in Singapore.
• Proven success in Enterprise Sales roles, ideally in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS technology.
• Experience selling innovation, ideally in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS technology.
• Solution and business-outcomes-focused sales approach (MEDDPIC, Challenger Sale).
• Ability to articulate cloud & big data technologies and their business value for the customer.

Responsibilities

• Evangelize Databricks platform and launch brand in Accounts across industries.
• Prospect, identify, and source sales opportunities, building pipeline with SDR team.
• Engage with business and technical decision-makers and lead them through evaluation and buying process.
• Exceed individual activity, pipeline, and annual revenue targets.
• Engage with and drive business through local partners (technology partners, ISVs, SIs, and GSIs).
• Drive customer success and upsell in existing customers.
• Create a Territory Strategy focused on the public sector industry and other industries.
