You will own the product roadmap and backlog, collaborating with design, engineering, and research teams to translate user needs and business objectives into concrete features. The role emphasizes discovery, user research, and data-driven decision making, working within an agile environment and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience in digital products.
• Experience in government or the public sector.
• Strong skills in roadmapping, backlog management, requirements gathering, user stories, and prioritisation.
• Hands-on product discovery, user research, and validation.
• Analytical with data-driven decision making using product metrics.
• Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product roadmap and backlog across key user journeys.
• Translate user research, stakeholder needs, and policy requirements into clear product requirements and user stories.
• Prioritise features based on user needs, business impact, and delivery constraints.
• Lead product discovery and validation activities and translate findings into actionable product improvements.
• Define success metrics and KPIs, monitor product performance, and use data to guide decisions.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, researchers, and engineering teams to deliver features from concept through production release.
• Ensure products accommodate different user groups, requirements, and usage contexts.
• Manage stakeholders and communicate product strategy, priorities, decisions, and rationale clearly.
