Job summary

Apple in Singapore is seeking a senior safety technology professional to advance emergency data, location services, and public safety integrations across devices. You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to define core safety capabilities and influence the end-to-end user experience.

The role includes engaging with government agencies and responders, driving change management, and ensuring privacy considerations while expanding safety features into new markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in public safety disciplines (e.g., law enforcement, fire, EMS).
• PSAP operations experience in East Asia/Pacific, South/Central America, or South Asia.
• Basic knowledge of cellular networks and emergency response.
• Strong understanding of public safety systems architecture and data sharing.
• Experience integrating new tech into PSAP/field operations and guiding change management.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop safety technologies and applications with systems and hardware teams.
• Advise on core safety features like Enhanced Emergency Data, Emergency SOS via satellite, and location services.
• Engage with Government Agencies, PSAPs, regulators, and associations to broaden feature reach.
