Job summary

ST Engineering Mission Software & Services Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, designing and deploying integrated software for mission-critical public safety applications.

You will define the technical roadmap, oversee the full software development lifecycle, and collaborate with product, operations and QA to deliver secure, scalable solutions while managing risk and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior technical management role within public safety, security, or related technology sectors.
• Strong expertise in software architecture, system integration, and development methodologies appropriate to mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and team management of multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Define and drive the technical roadmap aligned with business goals, overseeing the entire software development lifecycle from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, operations, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule and within budget.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to understand requirements, provide technical advice, and ensure alignment of technology initiatives with user needs.
• Promote adoption of best practices in software engineering, security protocols, and system architecture while driving innovation to maintain competitive advantage.
• Identify potential technical risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard system reliability and compliance with industry standards.
