YAP Global Ltd. is a global PR and communications consultancy focused on blockchain, DeFi and web3 brands. We are expanding our team and seek an Account Executive to craft and place stories that build trust.

You will write press material, monitor coverage, and pitch media while coordinating interviews and campaigns with a global team. The role suits 1–2 years in PR or journalism with a passion for fintech and crypto.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have the right to work in Singapore.
• 1–2 years experience or educational background in Public Relations, Communications or Journalism.
• Knowledge of the fintech, blockchain or cryptocurrency space.
• Outstanding organisational, multi-tasking and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail: spelling, grammar and proofreading.
• High motivation and ability to work independently under pressure.
• Strong news sense and a knack for storytelling.
• Creativity, strategic thinking and innovation.
• Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with clients and media.
• Willing to communicate with memes.
• Experience with Telegram, Slack, X and Discord.

Responsibilities

• Research and write press releases, news stories, articles, case studies and opinion pieces.
• Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients.
• Pitch clients’ stories to strategic media outlets to boost coverage and awareness.
• Proactively arrange interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients’ spokespeople, in person or by phone.
• Assist in developing creative ideas for PR campaigns and clients, crafting and executing media strategies.
• Be the liaison on behalf of clients and represent them with the media as required.
• Analyse PR coverage and provide written wrap-up reports.

• At least 1-2 years experience or educational background in Public Relations, Communications or Journalism
• Knowledge of the fintech, blockchain or cryptocurrency space or have genuine desire to learn about it

• Strong attention to detail: be excellent at spelling, grammar and proof-reading
