YAP Global is a global PR consultancy working with organisations in the cryptocurrency, DeFi and web3 sector to build their brands through storytelling. We are expanding and seeking a superstar Account Executive to join our Singapore team.

Our diverse portfolio ranges from decentralised finance to NFT marketplaces, with opportunities to attend major conferences. The role involves researching, writing, pitching, and media liaison to deliver impactful campaigns.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in Public Relations, Communications or Journalism.
• Knowledge of fintech, blockchain or cryptocurrency space.

Responsibilities

• Research and write press releases, news stories, articles, case studies, and opinion pieces.
• Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients.
• Pitch clients’ stories to strategic media outlets to boost coverage and awareness.
• Proactively arrange interviews with key journalists for clients’ spokespeople.
• Assist in developing creative ideas for PR campaigns and media strategies.
• Be the liaison on behalf of clients with the media.
• Analyze PR coverage and provide wrap-up reports.

Our collaborative and global team is expanding, and we are looking for a superstar Account Executive.

Keyresponsibilities

• Research and write press releases, news stories, articles, case studies, and opinion pieces
• Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients
• Pitching clients’ stories to strategic media outlets to boost coverage and awareness
• Proactively arrange interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients’ spokespeople – be it in person or over the phone.
• Assisting in developing creative ideas for PR campaigns and clients, crafting and executing media strategies
• Be the liaison on behalf of clients and representation of a client with the media as and when required
• Analysing PR coverage and providing written wrap up reports

Requirements

• Candidate must have the right to work in Singapore
• At least 1-2 years experience or educational background in Public Relations, Communications or Journalism
• Knowledge of the fintech, blockchain or cryptocurrency space or have genuine desire to learn about it
• Outstanding organisational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail: be excellent at spelling, grammar and proof-reading
• High motivation and the ability to work independently under pressure
• Strong news sense and a knack for storytelling
• Flair for creativity, strategic thinking and innovation
• Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with clients and media
• Willing to communicate with memes
• Experience with a range of communication platforms (Telegram, Slack, X (formerly Twitter) and Discord)
