Job summary

The Garcha Group, Singapore’s boutique hotel group, seeks diligent housekeeping staff to maintain high cleanliness standards across its Maxwell Reserve, The Vagabond Club and The Serangoon Club properties. Responsibilities include cleaning, linen changes, restocking and supporting laundry or public areas as needed, while adhering to safety and brand procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety rules.
• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Follow Marriott’s ABCs of Housekeeping.
• Clean shower, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floors.
• Strip beds and change linens, possibly lifting bedspreads.
• Dust furniture, pictures, drawers, ledges and shelves.
• Vacuum rooms and empty trash.
• Replenish amenities, linens and supplies in guest rooms.
• Sign for room keys and restock carts.
• Assist with laundry or public areas when needed.
• Be punctual and in proper uniform.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Follow Marriott’s “ABCs of Housekeeping”
• Clean shower, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads.
• Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
• Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.
• Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.
• Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock carts. Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room.
• Assist with laundry or public area whenever needed.
• On time and at work when scheduled and in proper uniform.
• Any other duties/tasks as requested by management.
