Job summary

BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a dedicated lab assistant for the Seng Kang location to support science lessons and school activities.

Contract from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027, salary SGD 1,400 per month, with Monday to Friday 7:30am–1:30pm, occasional ad-hoc duties for E2K Science, and school-holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Excellent team player who is organized, meticulous and able to multi-task.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferably proficient in MS Office
• Preferably with working experience in a school laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apparatus and set-ups, and help teachers during Science experiments in the lab or classroom.
• Carry out a stocktake twice a year (mid-year and end of year).
• Keep the Science Laboratory clean and tidy.
• Look after the Science Corners: Spices & Herbs, Cactus & Fernery, Hydroponics and the Vertical Garden.
• Help with harvesting and transplanting at the hydroponics and vertical garden.
• Help teachers with Science activities during recess.
• Help with the recycling programme on Thursdays during recess.

Working Hours

Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 1:30pm, including a 1-hour lunch break

You may be needed on an ad-hoc basis for E2K Science

You may be needed during school holidays

No work on PSLE Oral, Listening Comprehension and marking days

No work on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
