Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide overhaul, technical testing, and troubleshooting for Pressure Safety Valves (PSVs) across workshop and customer sites in Singapore. You will report to the Senior Operations Manager and collaborate with customers, service teams, and sales partners to deliver high-quality solutions and drive customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering or related technical discipline.
Experience in field service, maintenance, repair, testing, or overhaul in an industrial environment.
Working knowledge of mechanical equipment, valves, or similar products.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and reports.
Strong customer focus, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and digital service management systems.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Willingness to travel to customer sites and support field assignments.
Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Perform overhaul, maintenance, inspection, assembly, testing, and repair of PSVs in workshop and customer sites.
Conduct pop testing, calibration, setting, and functional testing of PSVs per procedures.
Generate and maintain job cards, worksheets, and service reports.
Document service findings and update records promptly.
Identify replacement parts, recommend repairs, and advise on PSV maintenance.
Conduct site walkdowns and asset audits to evaluate valve conditions and improvements.
Perform onsite overhaul services, valve commissioning, settings adjustment, and testing.
Support witnessed testing with customers, inspectors, and third parties.
Collaborate with Sales and Asia Pacific Lifecycle Services for technical support during visits.
Assist with customer training sessions, seminars, and technical workshops.
Provide service at customer facilities including Jurong Island and Pulau Bukom.
Support local and overseas service assignments as needed.
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and meeting delivery commitments.
Assist with urgent collection and delivery activities when required.
Promote a strong safety culture and comply with site policies and regulations.
