Job summary

Pacific Life Re in India seeks a Director, Client Solutions for Protection, Asia, to drive new business plans and manage critical client relationships. You will own client strategies, coordinate across departments, and lead treaty negotiations with a focus on the Indian market.

You will travel to India frequently, report to the Head of India, and mentor junior team members while shaping client perceptions and ensuring superior service delivery across the Protection line.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics, Economics or Science-based field; professional actuarial qualification preferred.
• Actuary qualification or substantial actuarial experience is required.
• Experience in Protection/Indian market knowledge is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage key client relationships and define client strategies across Asia with emphasis on India.
• Coordinate client work and communications across Pacific Life Re departments; maintain CRM data accuracy.
• Lead treaty and addenda negotiations, ensuring proper reviews and approvals.
• Develop team capabilities by training junior members and sharing client insights.
• Travel to visit clients in India; collaborate with global Protection teams to improve client service.
