Job summary

Pacific Life Re in Singapore seeks a Director, Client Solutions for Protection with a deep focus on India and Asia. You will own key client relationships, set strategies, and coordinate across departments to delivery outcomes.

You will prepare reinsurance treaties and lead negotiations and implementations, while keeping CRM data current and driving improvements across the client service model. You will travel frequently to visit clients in India and collaborate with teams to shape propositions,

Qualifications

• Mathematics, Economics or Science-based degree and a Qualified Actuary with at least ten years’ experience in the Protection market in Asia, specifically India.

Responsibilities

• Own client relationships and develop strategies; coordinate with Pacific Life Re teams to deliver service to clients.
• Lead treaty negotiations and implementation with clients; ensure proper review and governance of contracts.
• Develop and implement innovative client solutions and analyses to enhance the reinsurance relationship.
• Manage treaty pipeline and provide updates to leadership; support DBS, pricing, underwriting and legal perspectives.
• Mentor and develop junior team members to handle client relationships with minimal supervision.
