The Health Sciences Authority in Singapore is seeking a Legal Executive (Prosecution) to support its legal and prosecution functions. The role involves paralegal work, legal research, and assisting counsels with prosecution and court matters.

You will conduct regulatory prosecutions in State Courts and Youth Courts, provide back-end support for Night Court matters, and help with drafting, case management and other legal department tasks in a fast-paced regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• A law or communications background is preferred.
• Paralegal experience in private practice or public sector is advantageous.
• Experience attending court or assisting with court proceedings is valued.
• Strong organisation, communication, legal research and drafting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced regulatory environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide paralegal, legal research and administrative support to legal counsels.
• Assist legal counsels with the preparation and management of prosecution and court-related matters.
• Conduct regulatory prosecutions in State Courts and Youth Courts, including appearing in court and follow-up work.
• Provide backend and operational support for Night Court matters, typically once a week.
• Assist with legal research, drafting, case management and other legal department tasks as required.
