Job summary

HSA Health Sciences Authority in Singapore is seeking a Legal Executive (Prosecution) to provide paralegal, legal research and administrative support to legal counsels, and to assist with prosecution and court-related matters.

The role involves conducting regulatory prosecutions in State Courts and Youth Courts, attending court, and supporting Night Court matters on a weekly basis. A law background is preferred and prior paralegal/public sector experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Prefer a law or communications-related background.
• Paralegal experience in private practice or public sector is advantageous.
• Experience attending court or assisting with court proceedings is valued.
• Must have strong organisation, communication, legal research and drafting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide paralegal, legal research and administrative support to legal counsels.
• Assist with preparation and management of prosecution and court-related matters.
• Conduct regulatory prosecutions in State Courts and Youth Courts, including court attendance and case prep.
• Provide backend and operational support for Night Court matters (weekly).
• Assist with legal research, drafting, case management and other Legal Department tasks.
