Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is recruiting for a bid/tender specialist for a well-established company in the West region of Singapore. The role involves reviewing tender documents, preparing bid proposals to customer specifications, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely responses to bid queries.

You will source suppliers, estimate costs including BOQ/SOR/SOK/SOT, and work with the Engineering team to ensure a smooth project handover and provide execution support as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in HVAC/BMS industry.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents.
• Prepare and compile bid proposals per customer specifications.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely bid responses.
• Liaise and obtain competitive quotations.
• Negotiate pricing with customers and subcontractors.
• Source suppliers and subcontractors for tender quotations.
• Estimate costs and prepare BOQ, SOR, SOK, and SOT schedules.
• Work with Engineering to ensure smooth project handover and provide execution support when required.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Review of tender documents
• Preparing, compiling bid proposal in accordance with the customer specification
• Coordinate and liaise with internal departments to ensure timely responses to queries subsequent to bid submission
• Liaising and seeks competitive quotations.
• Negotiate with customer and sub-contractor about pricing.
• Source for suppliers and sub-contractors for quotation for tendering.
• Ability to estimating the cost of the assigned scope and prepare bill of quantities (BOQ), Schedule of Rate (SOR), Schedule of breakdown (SOK) and Schedule of Technical Data (SOT)
• Work closely with the Engineering team to ensure project handover is carried out and that support is provided during the execution phase if required.

Requirements

• Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in HVAC / BMS industry.
