Job summary

EA Recruitment Pte. Ltd. is seeking an engineer to prepare proposals and cost estimates for tender projects in the West Singapore area.

You will estimate quantities, sizes, BOQ and costs for HVAC/BMS tenders and support the technical and costing aspects of contract pursuit. The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years in HVAC/BMS, and will involve interpreting drawings and specifications to ensure competitive bids.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in HVAC/BMS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposal and cost estimation for tender projects.
• Estimate project quantities and costs for major tenders (HVAC equipment, IO summary, DDC sizing, field device selection, BOQ, costing, valve selection).
• Assist the Proposal/Sales Manager on technical and costing matters.
• Plan, prepare, coordinate and consolidate all estimating activities.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, scope of works.
• Follow tendering policies and procedures for consistent work.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare proposal and cost estimation for tender projects
• Estimate project quantities and costs in the preparation of major tenders in a timely and cost effective basis such as to take-off HVAC equipment, preparation of IO summary, DDC controller sizing, field device selection, preparation of BOQ, costing, valve selection
• Assist the Proposal / Sales Manager on technical matters and costing matters during the process of securing the contracts
• Plan, prepare, coordinate and consolidate all estimating activities
• Interpret engineering documentation such as drawings, specifications, scope of works and etc
• Follows all relevant tendering / proposals policies and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Possess minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in HVAC / BMS industry.
